Heathcotes Group have been working with Cost Advice for a little over a year now. Our portfolio is large and continuing to grow. Our portfolio stretches over several different businesses and therefore many different suppliers and contract end dates, some supplies also on out of contract tariffs causing us additional expenditure. We were looking for central management and organisation of the portfolio to allow our internal accounts team to manage this in a effective and efficient manner moving forward.
Cost Advice conducted their analysis and first of all split the portfolio up and brought a large proportion of this together quickly, the supplies which need attention quickly due to contracts ending soon or supplies not in contract. They suggested bringing the contracts to a common end date and placing with 2 suppliers (one for electricity and one for gas) both of which provided fantastic financial savings for us across the board as well as that much needed structure to the portfolio. We are now working on the remainder of the portfolio performing the same exercise to bring everything in line. We knew this would take time and one year in we’ve certainly been reaping the benefits for some time now.
