RO costs are up 18.5% from April 2018
The Renewables Obligation cost for the period April 2018 to March 2019 has now been published.
The cost is 2.21p/kWh, up from the current level of 1.864p.
For a customer using 1,000,000 kWh of electricity, the cost now equates to over £22,000 of charges.
