Chamber Members

Hello fellow East Midlands Chamber members!

If you’ve reached this page, you’ve probably heard that we are offering fellow East Midland Chamber members some special guarantees and additional energy services, that only our current valued clients may receive.

FREE, no obligation KVA analysis

Simply by being a fellow EMC Member, we are offering a completely FREE, no obligation review of your KVA capacity.

To read more about KVA and how we could help you, please read our quick guide HERE.

This is not something we would generally offer to undertake for businesses unless they were an existing client. However if you’re an EMC Member then please get in touch with us.

Our 100% GUARANTEE that you will never be placed onto ‘Out of Contract’ rates

If you’ve ever missed your energy renewal or your new supplier hasn’t registered your supply for the correct date, you may have incurred ‘Out of Contract’ rates in the past.

These Out of Contract rates are commonly DOUBLE market rates, so we’ll put our money where our mouths are, and guarantee that if you are ever placed onto Out of Contract rates because we haven’t helped arrange your supplies properly, we’ll pay you the difference. *

Our 100% GUARANTEE that you will never automatically be ‘rolled over’.

You may have been ‘rolled over’ in the past by your supplier because you haven’t followed certain procedures before the contract renewal date.

This may perhaps have ‘trapped’ you into staying with them, perhaps at unfavourable rates.

By using Cost Advice, we will guarantee that you will never be automatically rolled over by your current supplier, and if you are, we will cover the difference between your roll-over rates and the most competitive rates we (or you) can find elsewhere. **

Here’s the legal parts:

KVA Analysis:

Not all supplies are subject to KVA charges. Therefore in these instances no analysis may be able to take place. In order to undertake the KVA analysis Cost Advice will require a valid letter of authority from you so we can obtain relevant data about your supplies, and at least one recent electricity invoice from your supplier. You may be required to provide additional information if the supplier will not release this to us in order to undertake the analysis. Without all relevant information we will not be able to undertake the analysis.

* In order to satisfy the guarantee Cost Advice will need to hold on file a valid letter of authority that allows Cost Advice to serve appropropriate Termination Notice to your current supplier, obtain supply quotations and other relevant supply data. Cost Advice will only cover the difference between Out of Contract rates and market and/or contracted rates where Cost Advice have arranged the new supply contract, this contract has been accepted by the customer in a timely manner allowing any transfer of supply to take place, and any objections by the current supplier causing a delay in transfer are not due to debt on the customer’s account or the current supplier objecting unlawfully or unnnecessarily. For the avoidance of doubt, Cost Advice will not guarantee to cover the difference between Out of Contract rates and market/contract rates where Cost Advice have not arranged the new supply agreement or any delay or period of Out of Contract charges are not the fault of Cost Advice, or if the Customer refuses to provide, or does not provide in a timely manner a valid letter if authority when requested to do so.

** In order to satisfy the guarantee Cost Advice will need to hold on file a valid letter of authority that allows Cost Advice to serve appropriate termination notice to your current supplier within the timescales set by that supplier. Cost Advice will not guarantee against any cost difference between roll-over prices and contract/market rates where the customer may already be in a roll-over situation, or where Cost Advice have not had reasonable time to serve the appropriate termination notice to the current supplier after the provision of a valid letter of authority. For the avoidance of doubt, Cost Advice will only cover the difference in the roll-over prices and those available from an alternative supplier where it is clear the roll-over contract was unavoidable and the direct result of Cost Advice not acting within their reasonable capabilities.
